Stephanie Maria Lentz

Stephanie Maria Lentz, 44, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 1, 2026. Her memorial service will be held Friday, June 12, 2026 in the First Baptist Church of Charleston Beach House, 1017 West Ashley Ave. in Folly Beach at 6:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

Stephanie was born August 4, 1981 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of Richard Rourk, Sr. and the late Vivian Holton Rourk. She was a dedicated teacher at Stiles Point Elementary School, a lover of the ocean and beach, and best known as a karaoke star!

Stephanie had a kind, gentle heart and loved everyone. She was a perfect wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Stephanie attended every family event, loved her family hard and we loved her back just as much. Stephanie and her husband, Freddy, had just recently celebrated their 20th anniversary.

Her daughter, Olivia, was the light of her life. She would tell you that she prayed 1,490 days for her.

Stephanie is survived by her husband, Freddy Lentz, and their daughter Olivia; her parents, Richard and Joyce Rourk Sr. of Charleston, SC; her in-laws, Fred and Linda Lentz of Ravenel, SC; siblings, Pam Ravenel (Jon), Tracey Ryan (Louis), Ricky Rourk Jr. (Inez), and Johnny Rourk (Jennifer). She had 17 nieces and nephews and 9 great nieces and nephews who all adored her.
