Stanley D. Toporek, D.D.S., 76, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Eileen "IJo" Caplan Toporek entered into eternal rest Thursday, March 10, 2016. His funeral service will be held graveside Sunday, March 13, 2016 in Emanu-El Cemetery, Sycamore Avenue, Maryville at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

Stanley was born March 16, 1939 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Mike S. Toporek and Rose Feder Toporek. He graduated from the University of North Carolina and the Medical College of Virginia Dental School. Stanley served in the U.S. Navy. He was a retired founder of West Ashley Dental Associates and a member of Synagogue Emanu-El.

Stanley is survived by his wife; three sons: Joel L. Toporek (Tina) of Goose Creek, SC, Craig L. Toporek (Courtney) of Charleston, SC, and Dr. Martin D. Toporek (Christine) of Mount Pleasant, SC; seven grandchildren: Desiree, Kyle, Karlee, Mason, Ashby, Leila Rose and Hudson; brother, Eddie S. Toporek (Sharon) of Mount Pleasant, SC and sister, Claire Toporek Holtsford of Atlanta, GA.
