Stanley Clyburn Langston, 87, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of the late Anne Douglas Langston passed away on Monday, May 19, 2014. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 24, 2014 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the J. HENRY STUHR INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road. A private inurnment will be held at a later time.

Stanley was born January 17, 1927 in Camden, South Carolina, son of the late John I. Langston and Marie Hodge Langston. A graduate of the Citadel, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during World War II. Stanley was the owner of Langston Motors Mercedes-Benz and in his spare time enjoyed painting and photography.

He is survived by his son, Stuart D. Langston and his girlfriend, Kathy Walker of Charleston, SC; his granddaughter, Kera Langston; and Stanley's special friend, Rachel Sharry. Stanley was preceded in death by his sons, Gerald Langston and Richard I. Langston, his daughter, Charlotte L. Williamson, and his sister, Carolyn L. Hudson.
