Jerry Eugene Feagin, 61, of Summerville, South Carolina, husband of Dahle Knudsen Feagin entered into eternal rest Tuesday, May 5, 2020. His memorial service will be held, Saturday, May 8, 2021 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Downtown Chapel, 232 Calhoun Street at Noon. The inurnment will be held at St. Lawrence Cemetery on Huguenin Avenue. Due to COVID protocol, the number of attendees is limited to 60 at a time and all guests are required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
Jerry was born June 25, 1958 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Doris Brackett Hughes and the late Eddie "Bud" Feagin. Jerry began his military career jumping from C-17's with the 82nd Airborne. He cross trained to become a combat medic and after 20 years he retired. He then joined the Roper SICU team. During his 23 years at Roper, he earned his RN degree, CCRN and received the South Carolina Palmetto Gold and Humanitarian award.
He is survived by his loving wife Dahle; his children, Jerry Feagin, Jr., Joseph Dale (Holly) Feagin and Elizabeth (Justin) Blaisdell; mother, Doris Brackett Hughes; grandchildren, Olivia, Noah and Alice Blaisdell and December, Roman and Connor Feagin; three sisters, Jeannie Feagin, Janice (Ken) Warlick and Wanda (Ted) Wood.
He was preceded in death by his father.
