Sonia Rowland

Sonia Kaye Rowland, 66, of Front Royal, Virginia, wife of Charles "Freddy" Rowland entered into eternal rest Monday, October 9, 2023, in Port Orange, FL. Her Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 20, 2023, in J. Henry Stuhr Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 2:00 PM.  Interment will follow at Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Chapel Service.   

Sonia was born November 19, 1956, in Georgetown, Kentucky, daughter of the late John Hall Willhoit and Wanda Hamilton Willhoit.  She was formally a waitress at the Cracker Barrel in North Charleston and then devoted all her time to her family and making a loving home. She enjoyed gardening and NASCAR racing. Sonia was of the Baptist Faith.  

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, "Freddy" of Front Royal, VA. son, Michael Alan Bailey of Burlington, KY; two daughters, Heather Perez (Gary Langevin) of Port Orange, FL., Charlsey Kaye Calder (Zack) of Lake Charles, LA; seven grandchildren, Michaela Bailey, McKenzie Bailey, Jackson Bailey, Adyen Bailey, Mackenzie Slater, Nataleigh Calder, Dillion Calder; two great grand children; two brothers, Larry Hall  Willhoit (Sheila) of Georgetown, KY., David Ray Willhoit (Cindy) of Summerville, SC; and her dog, Dega. Her dog Pnut passed last year.
