Sondra Vick Pye

Sondra Vick Pye, 79, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of the late Cyrus Thaddeus Pye died Wednesday, May 30, 2018. Her Funeral Service will be held Sunday, June 3, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in the Mount Pleasant Chapel on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 pm.

Sondra was born July 18, 1938 in Fort Mill, South Carolina, daughter of the late Arthur John Vick and the late Flossie Elizabeth AshleyVick Molina. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sondra was also a member of the Charleston Rifle Club and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Mount Pleasant Fire Department.

She is survived by daughter, Iris Irene Buenting (David) of Johns Island, SC; four granddaughters, Melissa Alsip, Tiffany Romanchek (Chris), Jennifer Pye (Scott), Brooke Hamby (Brandon); grandson, Chadd Buenting (Meghan); great grandchildren, Zachary Pye, Chaddwick Buenting, Jacob Pye, Dylan Buenting, Chase Daigle, Marisa Romanchek, Kylie Alsip, Carson Hamby, Baylor Hamby, Riley Buenting, Peyton Cappa, McKinley Romanchek and Avery Buenting and daughter-in-law, Terri Pye. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Johnny L. Pye, brother, Arthur DeSport Vick, sisters, Arbutus Vick Busques and Mary Elizabeth Vick Fogle.
