Sk1 Edward J. Keohane Jr. USN Ret.

SK1 Edward Joseph Keohane, Jr., US Navy Ret., 63, of Goose Creek, SC, husband of Karen Frances Keohane, passed away, Saturday, May 14, 2011, peacefully at home.

Born December 9, 1947 in New York City, NY, he was one of six children of Edward Joseph Keohane, Sr. and Margaret Theresa Sullivan Keohane.  He was a retired US Navy Petty Office who later worked for the US Postal Service and DynCorp. 

The memorial service will be held at the American Legion Post 166, 116 Howe Hall Road, Goose Creek, SC, Sunday, May 22, 2011 at 3:00 PM.  Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL.

Mr. Keohane is survived by his wife of 24 years, Karen Keohane of Goose Creek, SC; three children:  Kuniko Margaret Keohane of Key West, FL, Sean Joseph Keohane of Huntsville, AL and Mackenzieann Keohane of Goose Creek, SC; siblings:  Eugene Keohane of Staten Island, NY, Joanne Keohane of New York, NY, Noreen Keohane of Brooklyn, NY and Daniel Keohane of Brooklyn, NY; six grandsons.  He is preceded in death by his son, Ryan Edward Keohane; parents; brother, John Keohane.
