Shirley Ellen Varnadore

Shirley Ellen Varnadore, 88, of Ravenel, South Carolina, wife of the late Bobby Eugene Varnadore, entered into eternal rest Friday, July 5, 2024 surrounded by family. Her Graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2024 in the Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road at 10:00 am. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.

Shirley was born August 23, 1935 in Loup City, Nebraska, daughter of the late Rudolph "Ralph" Bartunek and Mae Edith (Rogers) Benner, but has called Charleston, SC her home since 1967 by way of California. She was a lover of bowling, games and jigsaw puzzles.

She is survived by three daughters, Sherry Wheatley (Joe) of Goose Creek, SC, Diane Jordan of Ravenel, SC, Vicki Joyner (Darrell) of Conover, NC; granddaughter, Chrystal May (Michael) of Charleston, SC. 

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson, John Marshall, Jr., and son-in-law, Russell Jordan.
