Shirley Ann Singletary

Shirley Ann Singletary ,70, of Moncks Corner, SC, wife of Anthony Singletary, entered eternal rest Saturday, January 4, 2024. Her service will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2024, in Harristown Full Gospel Holiness Church, 2217 Harristown Road, St. Stephen, SC 29479 at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the hour of service. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Shirley was born January 23, 1954, in Moncks Corner, SC, the daughter of the late Rev. Fulton Gaskins and the late Yvonne Gaskins. Mrs. Shirley loved spending her time cooking and gardening. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and crocheting, but more than anything she loved fishing. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, and two brothers: Guy King and Danny L. Gaskins. 

Surviving are her husband, Anthony Singletary; four children, Stephanie Caddell of Moncks Corner, Amy Thomas (Preston) of Andrews, SC, Harris M. Hiers, III (Misty) of Shulerville, SC, and Travis T. Hiers (Michelle) of St. Stephen, SC; ten grandchildren, Dakotah Caddell, Nicholas Caddell, Timothy Belcher (Madison), Amber Belcher, Zachary Belcher, Colden Thomas, Kierston Owens, Hydie Hiers, Hayden Hiers, Elijah Hiers, and Isaiah Hiers; Seven siblings, Billy Gaskins of Summerville, SC, Lynn Gaskins (Tonya) of Cross, SC, Debra Shuler of Honeyhill, SC, Rev. Donald Gaskins (Darlene) of St. Stephen Kenny Gaskins (Julia) of Huger, SC, Dale Gaskins (Myra) of Alvin, SC, Lorie Harris (Mark) of St. Stephen, and Lamar Gaskins (Jesse) of St. Stephen, SC; eight great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews. 

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
