Shirley W. Rowe

Shirley W. Rowe, 89, of Hanahan, SC, died Wednesday, October 18, 2017. Her funeral service will be held Saturday, October 21, 2017 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday one hour prior to the service.

Shirley was born April 14, 1928 in Franklin, NC, daughter of the late Ralph Wayne Welch and the late Ethel Jean Teague Welch. Throughout her life she was active in community churches, was a former president of Womens Aglow and a member of the Daughters of Zion. Shirley was a member of Whole Life Ministries in Augusta, GA and Charleston, SC.

She is survived by two sons, Michael Edward Rowe (Susan) of Columbia, SC, Greg J. Rowe (Rhonda) of Maryville, TN; daughter, Linda R. Nolin (Wayne) of Charleston, SC; seven grandchildren: Collin W. Rowe, Tyler K. Rowe, Justin Cotton, Johnathan Cotton, Shelby Nolin Magers, A. J. Rowe and Kathryn Rowe; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Jean Welch of Franklin, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Rowe.
