Shirley Feldman Prystowsky

Shirley Feldman Prystowsky, 96, of Fort Mill, South Carolina, wife of the late Arnold Prystowsky, entered into eternal rest Sunday, January 28, 2024. Her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, January 30, 2024 in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Downtown Chapel, 232 Calhoun Street at 2:00 p.m. where her service may be viewed via live stream at https://youtube.com/live/-ZakK4C_2Iw?feature=share. Burial will immediately follow in Brith Sholom Beth Israel Cemetery (Maryville), Sycamore Avenue. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

Shirley was born August 1, 1927 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late William Feldman and Gussie Rosen Feldman. Some of her greatest accomplishments include President of BSBI Sisterhood, President of Hadassah, and President of the Charleston Jewish Federation Women's Division. Shirley was extremely family oriented and cherished the time spent with her adoring nieces and nephews. Her passion was serving her Jewish community and she generously gave so much of herself.

Shirley is survived by her two sons: Edward Prystowsky (Lori) of Rockville, MD and Joel Feldman Prystowsky (Carol) of Fort Mill, SC; brother, Dr. Leon Feldman of Atlanta, GA; two grandchildren: Freda Prystowsky and William Prystowsky (Delaney Buckley); and several nieces and nephews. 

The family wants to extend their appreciation to the caregivers at The Blake at Edgewater and Via Hospice of Fort Mill, SC for the care they provided.
