Shirley Helene Berge Healing, 72, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of David H. Healing entered into eternal rest Monday, July 16, 2018. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 21, 2018 in Old St. Andrews Parish Church, 2604 Ashley River Road, at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.

Shirley was born September 18, 1945 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, daughter of the late Richard Berge and Frances Galant Berge. She was a retired travel agent. Shirley was a life member of Lordship Community Church in Stratford, CT, a member of Old St. Andrews Parish Church and choir member.

She is survived by her husband, David H. Healing of Charleston, SC; two daughters, Karin Hope (Michael) of Milford, CT, Mary Scruggs (Mason) of Summerville, SC; son, Richard Healing (Christine) of Summerville, SC; sister, Patricia McCathron of Jupiter, FL; six grandchildren, Maggie Hope, Aidan Hope, Erin Healing, Jack Healing, Mason Scruggs, Jr., and Emma Scruggs.
