Entered into eternal rest on the morning of Monday, October 31, 2011, Shirley Chattman Hall, wife of Martin M. Hall of Dorchester, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. & Mrs. Martin M. Hall are invited to attend her funeral service in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, Friday, November 4, 2011, at 1:00 PM. Interment, Carolina Memorial Park. Friends may call at Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel Thursday between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM.

Mrs. Hall was born on January 2, 1946 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Jessie James Chattman and Mildred Grasty Chattman. She was a member and Past president of the VFW Women's Auxiliary Post 10256 and was the former Vice President of the Dorchester Volunteer Fire Department. She attended the Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her husband, Martin M. Hall of Dorchester, SC; daughters, Terrie Black of Orange County, TX and Leesa Hodges of Charleston, SC; sisters: Ruthie Bohannon and her husband Richard of Summerville, SC, Linda Goodale and her husband Mike of North Charleston, SC and Candy Chattman Ryan and her husband David of Summerton, SC; four grandchildren: Candice Black Prater and her husband Ted, Victoria Black, Travis Black and Ethann Potter; three great-grandchildren; 20 nieces and nephews; and 24 Great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Roy James Chattman and Donnie Ray Chattman; and a sister, Bonnie Chattman Johnson.
