Shirley Ann Dukes, 89, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of the late Rev. Robert P. Dukes, Sr. entered into eternal rest Wednesday, August 21, 2024. Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 26, 2024 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Dorchester Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Shirley was born February 13, 1935 in Landrum, South Carolina, daughter of the late Homer Peeler and the late Nellie Kirkendaw Peeler.

She is survived by son, Robert Dukes of North Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Alyssa Dukes of North Charleston, Kyle Dukes of Charlotte, NC and Mitch Dukes of Michigan; and many loved nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased in death by son, Douglas Dukes and two siblings.
