Shirley Ann Brodie

Shirley Ann Brodie, 77, of North Charleston, SC, widow of Lawrence J. Brodie, died Monday, June 20, 2011, in the Hospice of Charleston Hospice Center.

Born June 2, 1934 in Bemidji, MN she was one of three children of Ray Christianson and Ellen Lloyd Christianson.  She was the owner of L & S Electronics.  Mrs. Brodie was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, and served as a Vice President and was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association 269 Merry Widows.

Mrs. Brodie is survived by her sons, Larry Brodie and his wife Paula of Moncks Corner, SC and Mike Brodie and his wife Sarah of Hanahan, SC; daughters, Karen Pastor and her husband Jay of Moncks Corner, SC and Barbara Kerr and her husband William of Hanahan, SC; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Sally Siggs and Sharon Kurtsinger both of Washington.

The funeral service will be held in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, Sunday, June 26, 2011 at 11:00 AM.  Interment to follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel Saturday, June 25, 2011 between 7:00 and 9:00 PM.
