Shirley Elizabeth Anderson

Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of Wednesday, December 28, 2011, Shirley Elizabeth Horres Anderson, widow of Jack Willis Anderson, Sr. of Goose Creek, SC. The relatives and friends of Mrs. Anderson are invited to attend her memorial service in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, Saturday, December 31, 2011, at 10:00 AM. Friends may call at Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel on Friday, between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM.

Mrs. Anderson was born on September 10, 1934, in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Henry Horres and Marie Smith Horres. She was a Methodist in faith and a retired Caretaker in a child care facility.

She is survived by her daughter, Rene Hughes and her husband Ray of Hanahan, SC, three sons: Willis Anderson and Dean Anderson both of Goose Creek, SC and Michael Anderson of Swannanoa, NC; two sisters, Ann Taylor (Bob) of Spartanburg, SC and Jane Padgett (Bobby) of Summerville, SC; brother, Henry Horres (Mary) of James Island, SC; sister-in-law Joyce Horres of Varnville, SC; seven grandchildren: Heather Hughes, Meghan Stevens (Jeremy) , Dustin Hughes, Holden Hughes, Amanda Anderson, Jody Anderson and O'Mally Anderson; three great-grandchildren: Troy Stevens, Aydenne Montgomery and Kinley Stevens.
