Sheila Marie Dennis Bailey entered into Eternal Rest on Sunday, June 5, 2022. Her Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 17, 2022 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy, at 11:00 am. Interment will immediately follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service in the West Ashley Chapel beginning at 10:00 am.

Sheila was born January 29, 1961, the daughter of the late Marvin E. Dennis and Jane Lee Dennis. She attended school at First Baptist in Charleston and Middleton High School in West Ashley. The family has lived in Charleston since the 1950s.

Sheila is survived by her two daughters, Summer Wyndham (Clint) of Summerville, Georgia and Lindsey Wyndham (Andy) of Charleston; three grandchildren; brothers, Stephen Dennis of Hanahan and Malcolm Dennis (Sonya) of Boone, North Carolina; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Sheila was an artist who worked in acrylics, oils, and ceramics; she also designed and created jewelry. She often chose Native Americans and animals, particularly wolves, as subjects for her paintings.
