Shearan June Haselden, 72, of North Charleston, SC, widow of Joe Davis Haselden, Sr. of Hemingway, SC, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, September 9, 2020. Due to the health and concern for all under the current COVID-19 pandemic, services will be private at Riverview Memorial Park. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel.
Shearan was born November 13, 1947 in Tryon, NC, daughter of the late James Calvin Davis and the late Madge Lewis Davis. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Daughters of the Confederacy. She enjoyed studying her family's geneology and had a love for animals.
She is survived by her son, Joe D. Haselden, Jr. of Charleston, SC; her daughter, Lora H. Kitchen (Brian) of Ladson, SC; two grandchildren, Brittney Lynn Davis and Jeffrey A. Davis; two brothers, Britt Davis of North Charleston, SC and Michael Davis of Tryon, NC; sister, Melanie Bright (Michael) of Greer, SC; and her beloved cat, Murph.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe D. Haselden, Sr. and her son, James Henry Davis.
