Sharon Denise Ginger

Sharon Denise Ginger, 60, of Johns Island, South Carolina, wife of Joel Paul Owsen entered into eternal rest Saturday, June 13, 2026. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

Sharon was born May 29, 1966 in San Diego, California, daughter of Dennis Franklin Ginger and Cheryl Hubbard Ginger. She attended The University of California, San Diego and enjoyed a lengthy career as a paralegal. She and Joel traveled North America with numerous cross country trips in their Airstream Travel Trailer and documented finding the silver linings in life on the road, along with her poetry regarding her end of life journey in her blog, https://silverliningsteaming.com. San Diego, Seattle and the Pacific Northwest being some of their favorite destinations. This love of travel and adventure resulted in her developing lasting friendships with people throughout the country.

A celebration of Sharon's life will be held Friday, June 19, 2026 at the residence from 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm. A service on the West Coast will be announced at a later date.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Joel; sons, Matt and Jeffrey Jackson; grandchildren, Noah, Luca, June and Sienna; her soul sister, Beth Young; and Sharon's two fur babies, Millie and Daisy Mae.
