Sharon Dianne Thames Collis

Sharon Dianne Thames Collis, 61, of Awendaw, South Carolina, died Wednesday, March 14, 2018. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 17, 2018 in the Mt. Olivet Pentecostal Holiness Church, 8469 Doar Road, Awendaw at 11:00 am. Inurnment will be in Wilson Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends at the church, one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.

Sharon was born May 16, 1956 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of Joan Jackson Thames and the late Clarence William Thames, Sr.. She graduated from Wando High School. Sharon loved her family time especially with her grandchildren and loved to cook.

She is survived by her mother, Joan J. Thames of Awendaw, SC; brother, Clarence "Lucky" William Thames, Jr. (Lynn) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; two daughters, Mandy Hodge (Jasper) of Awendaw, SC and Cheryl Dioti (Fabio) of McClellanville, SC; granddaughter, Alexis Hodge; two grandsons, Caleb Hodge and Connor Hodge; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and sister, Virginia Ellen Thames Hughes.
