Selina Jane Weeks Britt, 79, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Joseph Ethridge Britt, Jr. entered into eternal rest Monday, July 30, 2018. Her Funeral Service will be held Friday, August 3, 2018 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel, 232 Calhoun Street at 9:30 a.m. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Downtown Chapel.

Selina was born September 23, 1938 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late James Roland Weeks and Christine Sleigh Weeks. She was a graduate of Anderson College and a member of Ashley River Baptist Church. Selina was a retired Administrative Assistant to the Dean at the MUSC Department of Psychology.

She is survived by her son, Joseph "Jody" E. Britt III of Sand Springs, OK; two sisters: Elizabeth Farrish of Summerville, SC and Rosenell Heustess of Columbia, SC; and two granddaughters: Kaitlyn Britt and Hailey Britt.
