Sean Michael Deaton

Sean Michael Deaton, 21, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2010 in Charleston, SC.   A Celebration of Sean's Life will be held at Seacoast Community Church, 750 Long Point Road, Mt. Pleasant, SC, Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL Wednesday evening, September 29, 2010 from six until eight o'clock. Sean was born in Redondo Beach, CA on October 19, 1988, son of Michael Clay Deaton and Gina Pena.   A 2006 graduate of Wando High School, Sean was an athlete who loved football and wrestling. He was fiercely loyal to those he loved. He is survived by his father and step-mother, Michael Clay Deaton and Elizabeth Ann Stevens Deaton; his mom, Gina Pena of Los Angeles, CA; his brother, Benjamin Deaton of Mt. Pleasant, SC; sister, Sarah Deaton of Seattle, WA; half-sister, Stephany Pena of Los Angeles, CA and half-brother, Stephen Lopez of Los Angeles, CA; step-grandparents, Beverly and Wayne Stevens of Hilton Head, SC along with aunts, uncles and cousins. The family requests that memorials be made in Sean's memory to the Mission Outreach Program, Seacoast Community Church, 750 Long Point Road, Mt. Pleasant, SC  29464.
