Paul Kenneth Vincent SCPO USN (Ret.), 88, of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, husband of Janice Woelfersheim entered into eternal rest Thursday, January 13, 2022. His graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.
Paul was born September 21, 1933 in Troy, New York, son of the late Paul K. Vincent Sr. and Evelyn Fobare Vincent. He faithfully served his country in the United States Navy and Civil service, and retired after 30+ years, earning the rank of Senior Chief. Paul was a very adventurous man, who often said, "It is better to see it, than to read about it!". Taking that phrase to heart, Paul loved to travel all over with his family. Whether it was driving from coast to coast to see the sights, or camping with his family in the outdoors, Paul was often on the move and experiencing what life had to offer. In his free time, he enjoyed carpentry and woodworking. One thing in particular that he wished to accomplish was to build his own house - and he did just that, building the home that he and his family shared. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Janice; one daughter, Tracey A. (David) Parker; two sons, Ken Vincent and Dan (Margie) Vincent; four grandchildren; Ian Parker, Nathanael Vincent, Nick (Allison) Vincent and Danielle (Shane) Cook; six great-grandchildren and two brothers, Ralph (Esther) and Raymond Vincent.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
