Entered into eternal rest on the morning of March 24, 2011, Scott Anthony Stephens, Sr., husband of Malinda Jones Stephens.  Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service Sunday, March 27, 2011 at 5:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL.  Interment, private.  Friends may call at Stuhr's Downtown Chapel Sunday one hour prior to service.

Scott was born June 21, 1962 in Centerville, Maryland, the son of Lawrence Pritchard Stephens and Teresa Geisler Stephens Scurry.  He was a graduate of Sumter High School and University of South Carolina Sumter.  He was a sales person with heavy duty equipment. 

He is survived by his wife of Charleston, SC; one son: Scottie A. Stephens of Charleston, SC; one daughter: Campbell Lee Stephens of Charleston, SC; Mother and Father: Teresa and Jim Scurry of Sumter, SC; one sister: Sherrie Sedgwick (Ray) of Cross, SC; one brother: Steve Stephens (Lynn) of Las Vegas, NV, one sister-in-law: Brenda May (Alex) of Charleston, SC; two step-brothers: Grant Scurry (Laurie) of James Island, SC and John Scurry of Spartanburg, SC; seven nephews: Philip, Parker, Mac, Ryan, Andrew, Alan and Michael.
