Sarah Ferguson Parker

Sarah Ferguson Parker, 81, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of David Merritt Parker died Tuesday, December 20, 2016. Her graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2016 in Butler County Memorial Park, 380 Evans City Road, Butler PA at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends Friday, December 23, 2016 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL from 3:00 until 5:00 PM.

Sarah was born July 25, 1935 in Butler, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Bryson McKee Ferguson and the late Sarah Jane Patten Ferguson. She graduated from Grove City College in Grove City, PA with a General Business Degree. She was employed by Armco Steel. She was a Member of the Sigma Delta Pi Sorority, GFWC Junior League of Butler, Pa and the Butler Bridge club. After moving to Mt. Pleasant in 1973 she worked for TimeOut Sports, First Federal of SC and retired from Roper Hospital where she worked as a Medical Secretary.

She is survived by two daughters, Tracey Lynn Parker of Mount Pleasant, SC; Judith Parker Nelson (Ernie) of Sullivan's Island, SC and son, David Eric Parker of Mount Pleasant, SC; grandchildren, Bryson Nelson and Katie Nelson, both of Sullivan's Island, SC. She was preceded in death by husband, David Merritt Parker.
