Sarah Jane Leydon Pagels

Sarah Jane Leydon Pagels, 53, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014. A Celebration of Sarah's Life will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, May 2, 2014 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road. Interment will be private.
Sarah was born June 12, 1960 in Highland Park, Illinois, daughter of the late Leo and Betty Cronin Leydon. She was a Personal Shopper with Harris Teeter and was a member of Seacoast Community Church. Sarah loved the beach and was a true "Beach Girl," and loved protecting the sea turtles on the Isle of Palms.
She is survived by two sons, Daniel Craig Pagels of Mount Pleasant, SC and Andrew Charles Pagels of Johns Island, SC; and four sisters, Pam Leydon of Seattle, WA, Joan Stanley of Seattle, WA, Suzanne Hurd of San Francisco, CA, and Linda Dahl of Marin County, CA.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Island Turtle Team (IOP & SI), c/o SC DNR, Rembert C. Dennis Building, 1000 Assembly Street, Columbia, SC 29201.
