Sara Elizabeth Paradice

May 19, 1919 — July 4, 2012

Sara Quattlebaum Paradice died July 4, 2012 at Hospice of Charleston. She had been a resident of Life Care at the Elms for the past seven years. She is the widow of Leslie F. Paradice.

Born May 19, 1919 in Batesburg, SC a daughter of Walter H. Quattlebaum and Eula Kneece Quattlebaum. She graduated from Monetta High School in Monetta, SC. She owned and operated Paradice Fabric Shop in North Charleston, SC until her retirement in 1985. Mrs. Paradice was a member of Charleston Heights Baptist Church from the early 1950's until it disbanded. She is currently a member of Mt. Ebal Baptist Church in Batesburg, SC.

She is predeceased by one son, William H. Paradice previously of Batesburg, SC.

Mrs. Paradice is survived by one brother, Walter E. Quattlebaum (June B. Quattlebaum) of Batesburg, SC; two sons: Walter L. Paradice (Judy O. Paradice) of Batesburg, SC and Larry F. Paradice (Nikki S. Paradice) of Summerville, SC; two daughters, Diane P. Walker (Jimmie Walker) of Summerville, SC and Nancy S. Paradice of Washington, DC; daughter in law Marie B. Paradice of Batesburg, SC; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at Mt. Ebal Baptist Church on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 11:00 am. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL.
