Sandra Ginsberg Reed, 68, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Sunday, December 7, 2014. Her Funeral Service will be held at the graveside Tuesday, December 9, 2014 in Sumter Jewish Cemetery, 700 West Oakland Ave., at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Downtown Chapel.

Sandra was born January 27, 1946 in Sumter, South Carolina, daughter of Howard Lyon Ginsberg and Bessie Baumrind Ginsberg. She retired from the City of Charleston after 30 years with the Department of Planning and Urban Development. She was a member of Kahal Kadosh Beth Elohim Reform Temple, the Temple's Sisterhood, and served as an active member of the Hugo Distribution Center in Charleston.

She is survived by her children, Miriam E. Bumgarner (Rick) of Charleston, SC and Stephen J. Reed (Rebecca) of Clearwater, FL; sister, Tricia G. Haberman (Michael) of Atlanta, GA; brother, Terry A. Ginsberg of Salt Lake City, UT; grandchildren, Samantha R. Bumgarner, Michelle L. Bumgarner, and Catherine M. Reed; and two nieces, Alison Haberman Smith and Erica Haberman.
