Sandra McCorkle Donnan of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of James Hugh Donnan entered into eternal rest Monday, July 23, 2012. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 28, 2012 in the Harbor View Presbyterian Church 900 Harbor View Road at 11:00 am. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL. Sandra was born on August 10, 1948 in Savannah, Georgia, daughter of James Coy and Rita Renew McCorkle. She was a graduate of College of Charleston and graduated with Cum Laude honors. Sandra was a retired Agent with the South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services and was a member of Harbor View Presbyterian Church. Sandra was a faithful and committed Christian, who loved God, her church and her family.She is survived by her mother, Rita McCorkle of Summerville, SC, husband, James Hugh Donnan of Charleston; SC, daughter, Allison Clark and husband Andy of Mount Pleasant, SC; son, Tucker Wilkes of Charleston, SC; son, David Ackerman of Greenville, SC; step daughter, Ashley Donnan of Charleston, SC; devoted and loving grandmother to Anson Clark and Ella Clark; brother, Barry McCorkle and wife Dawn of Anderson, SC, brother, Alan McCorkle of Long Beach, CA; cousin and longtime friend, Linda Davis of Tybee Island, GA; and loving aunt, Louise Edwards of Toccoa, GA.
