On the 21st of July, 2010, Sandra (Sandy) Stuart Fulton Custer of Charleston,

SC, wife of James William Custer, passed away peacefully after a courageous

battle with breast cancer. The relatives and friends of Sandy are invited to

attend her memorial service at First (Scots) Presbyterian Church, Saturday,

Sandy was born December 17th, 1948 in Columbia, South Carolina, one of twin

girls born to The Reverend Dr. T. Robert and Evelyn Fulton. She was a graduate of Ole

lived in Charleston for the last ten years, during which time Sandy has worked in marketing for Piggly Wiggly. She was a member of First (Scots) Presbyterian

Church where she sang in the choir.

She is survived by her husband, Jim; her son David Benjamin Custer of Decatur,

Georgia; daughter Jennifer Leigh Custer of London, England; her twin sister

Susan Fulton Samson of Covington, Louisiana; her older brother T. Robert

Fulton of Austin, Texas; younger sister Deborah Fulton Anderson of Luxembourg

(Europe); one granddaughter, Evelyn Simone Custer; her sister-in-law, Terrie L. Custer of Charleston; and a multitude of extended family and friends in whose memories she will live forever.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Sandy's name to

the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, 60 East 56th Street, 8th Floor, New York, NY  10022 or Water Missions International, P.O. Box 31258, Charleston, SC  29417.
