Sandra Kay Avery , 69, of Goose Creek, SC, wife of Nicholas Francis Avery died Monday, July 9, 2018. Her memorial service will be held Thursday, July 12, 2018 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Stuhr Northwoods Chapel.

Sandra was born August 9, 1948 in Ellwood City, PA, daughter of the late John Britton and Edith Hall Britton. She retired as an executive secretary at Bosch. She loved grandmothering, sistering, gardening and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She was a member of the Circular Congregational Church.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years; two sons, Craig Avery of Goose Creek, SC, Clinton Avery (Melissa) of Hanahan, SC; daughter, Nicole Zitnik (Mark) of Goose Creek, SC; grandchildren: Britton, Anna, Rylee, Andrew and Ella Reese; three sisters: Donna Nye of Goose Creek, SC, Debbie Agostinelli of Ellwood City, PA and Laura Ingram (Tony) of Goose Creek, SC and one brother, Dean Britton of FL. She was preceded in death by her parents.
