Samuel Liberman

November 16, 1926 — June 17, 2012

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of June 17, 2012, Samuel Liberman, husband of Tilla Nussbaum Sabel Liberman. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Liberman are invited to attend the graveside funeral services of the former in Brith Sholom Beth Israel Cemetery, "Maryville" Monday, June 18th, at 11:00 a.m.

Mr. Liberman was born November 16, 1926 in Charleston, SC, the son of Julius Liberman and Annie Mendelson Liberman. He served with the United States Naval Reserves and was a businessman. He was a member of Brith Sholom Beth Israel Synagogue, Jewish War Veterans, Hebrew Benevolent Society, Mariner Lodge #2, A.F.M., Friendship Lodge #9, A.F.M., Scottish Rite and Charleston Elks Club.

He is survived by his wife of Charleston; two sons, Arthur Liberman of Charleston and Robert Liberman of Silver Spring, MD; four granddaughters, five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his first wife, Sylvia Laban Liberman, a son, Jack Liberman, and a sister, Lucille Liberman Katz.

Memorials may be made to the Addlestone Hebrew Academy Scholarship Fund, 1639 Wallenberg Blvd., Charleston, SC 29407.
