Samantha Leigh Kelly

Samantha Leigh Kelly was born on December 23, 1999, in McHenry, Illinois and passed away on December 1, 2024 in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. 

She is survived by her parents, James Kelly and Patricia Kelly; her sister, Kaitlyn Kelly; her brother-in-law, Laramie Immel; her grandmother, Grace Kelly; and a large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. Samantha was preceded in death by her grandparents: Roberta Wachowicz, John Wachowicz and Robert Kelly. 

Samantha attended Prairie Ridge High School and graduated in 2018. She continued her studies at Cuyahoga Community College and graduated in 2023.

She worked as a receptionist at Trident Security while building her career as a Court Reporter and excelled in her profession. 

Outside of work, Samantha had a passion for drawing and playing with her adopted kittens. She found peace and joy in any time spent near water, whether it be a backyard pool, a quiet pond, or the ocean. 

She was a survivor of open-heart surgery and inspired many with her strength throughout her journey. 

Although Samantha had no children of her own, she touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Berkeley Animal Center, 131 Central Berkeley Drive, Moncks Corner, SC 29461 in Samantha's memory.
