Sally Joyce Lansing

Sally Joyce Lansing, 80, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, widow of ENG1 William Howard Lansing, Sr., USN (Ret.) entered into eternal rest Thursday, August 9, 2018, at home surrounded by her family. Her funeral service will be held Monday, August 13, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road at 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Graveside service with military honors will be held in Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary Street, Beaufort, Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at 12:00 p.m..

Sally was born November 16, 1937 in Port Jervis , New York, daughter of the late Robert Simon Long and the late Helen J. Schuler Long. She was a US Navy veteran and avid NFL and college football fan.

She is survived by her three daughters: Deborah A. Olmo of Moncks Corner, SC, Barbara A. Long of Ladson,SC; Donna L. Lopez (John) of Moncks Corner, SC; two sons: William H. Lansing, Jr. (Pam) of Council Grove, KS, Alan E. Lansing of Goose Creek, SC; 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; five sisters: Jean Curzl, Sharron Clune, Joan Osmun, Donna Ricciardi, Patricia Craig; brother, Robert F. Long, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sally is predeceased by a sister, Janice Smith and two brothers, Wallace Long and Ronnie Long.
