Sallie Rae Clemons

November 11, 1924 — July 25, 2015

Sallie Rae Barnes Clemons, 90, of Johns Island, South Carolina, widow of Edward W. Clemons, entered into eternal rest Saturday, July 25, 2015. Her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday July 28, 2015 in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, at 10:00 a.m. The family will receive friends in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow in Riverview Memorial Park.

Sallie was born November 11, 1924 in Adams Run, SC, daughter of the late Henry Barnes and Reba Kinard Garvin. She retired as a nurses aide with St. Francis Hospital and was a member of Charleston First Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by her two sons, Robert Crosby (Susan) of Charleston, SC and Charles Pye (Donna) of Greenville, SC; and brother, Tony Garvin of Ravenel, SC.
