Ryan Phillip Kleeman

Ryan Phillip Kleeman, 23, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 3, 2016 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends Saturday one hour prior to the service in the Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Ryan was born October 22, 1992, son of the late Sidney D. Kleeman, Jr. and Kristin Marie Schnauthiel Kleeman. He was raised on a thoroughbred farm in Lexington, KY. The farm is where Ryan fell in love with horses, hunting with dad, fishing and lacrosse. Ryan's love for his Kentucky home was so great that his new friends referred to him as "Kentucky". The passion of Ryan's life was University of Kentucky Wildcats basketball - his heart truly bled blue for his team. Ryan graduated from Bishop England and was currently enrolled in college. It was his wish to graduate from the College of Charleston.

Ryan is survived by his mother, Kristin of Mt. Pleasant, SC; brother, Jennings Kleeman of Mt. Pleasant, SC; two uncles, Tom Schnauthiel of Huger, SC and Daniel Schnauthiel of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and aunt, Carolyn Schnauthiel Wells of Greenwood, SC.
