Ryan Daniel Dunleavy, 18, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, entered eternal rest Wednesday, March 13, 2024, in Tempe, AZ. The family will receive friends Monday, March 25, 2024, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel. His funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2024 in Stella Maris Catholic Church, 1204 Middle St., Sullivan's Island at 10:30 am.

Ryan was born July 20, 2005, in Stamford, Connecticut, son of Daniel Dunleavy and Tracey Bobst Dunleavy. A graduate of Wando High School where he played hockey and rugby. Ryan was a sports management major and had a brilliant grasp of sports trivia and player statistics. He was a passionate fan of the NY Jets and the ASU Sun Devils. He was a freshman at Arizona State University and will be remembered for the way he loved his family and his friends.

He is survived by his parents, Daniel and Tracey Dunleavy and twin siblings, Garrett and Claire Dunleavy, all of Mt. Pleasant, SC; paternal grandfather, Thomas Dunleavy of Oxford, CT; maternal grandfather Maurice Bobst (Mary) of York, PA; 11 aunts and uncles; and 19 cousins and their families. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Patricia Dunleavy, and maternal grandmother, Patricia Bobst.
