Ruth Levine Schwartzbach

Ruth Levine Schwartzbach, 96, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina formerly of Delray Beach, FL and Jericho, NY wife of the late Saul Schwartzbach entered into eternal rest Monday, April 20, 2015. A graveside service will be held in Mount Ararat Cemetery, East Farmingdale, NY. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston, SC.
Ruth was born January 25, 1919 in Bronx, NY, daughter of the late Jacob Levine and Ida Orkofsky Levine. She was a bookkeeper with AMF, Inc while living in NewYork.
She is survived by daughter, Lori Abramowitz (David) of Summerville, SC; two sons, Steven Schwartzbach (Elaine) of Memphis, TN, Jack Schwartzbach (Shelly) of Chesterfield, VA; eight grandchildren, Seth Abramowitz (Meg), Lara Wilson (John), Shoshana Bereskin (Fred), Lisa Ryan (Stephen), Amy Kang (Ed), Ilana Sellari (Daniel), Jordan Schwartzbach, Saul Schwartzbach and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to The American Heart Association of SC Memorial & Tributes Processing Center, 4217 Park Place Court, Glenn Allen, VA 23060 and/or The Jewish Federations of North America, Wall Street Station PO Box 157, New York, NY 10268.
