Ruth Anita Richardson

Ruth Anita Richardson "Sam", 68, of North Charleston, SC, died Monday, January 31, 2011, in a local care facility.

Born July 1, 1942 in Pensacola, FL, she was the only daughter of George Richardson, Sr. and Anita Ruth Richardson. 

Ms. Richardson is survived by her children, Elijah Richardson and his wife Gail of Jacksonville, FL, Michelle Richardson Holmes and her husband Stevie and Amanda Richardson all of North Charleston, and Jeremiah Richardson and his wife Mary of Summerville, SC; 11 grandchildren:  Leon, Johnathan, Datayashia, Tajana, Christell, Jeremiah Jr., Elijah Jr., Cairo, Mark, Stephon and Christian.

The funeral service will be held in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTH AREA CHAPEL, 2119 Dorchester Road, Friday, February 4, 2011 at 2:00 PM.  The family will receive friends in Stuhr's North Area Chapel Friday between 1:00 pm and 2:00 PM.
