Ruth Scheingarten Posner

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of April 19, 2012, Ruth Scheingarten Posner, widow of Isadore Posner. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services at the graveside in Brith Sholom Beth Israel (Maryville), Friday, April 20, 2012 at 1:00 p.m.

Mrs. Posner was born September 17, 1925 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Morris Scheingarten and Clara Kleinman Scheingarten. She was the owner of Carolina Seat Covers and a member of Brith Sholom Beth Israel Synagogue. Mrs. Posner was a graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School in Brooklyn, NY and was very active with the Jewish Community Center.

She is survived by: two daughters: Mindy Ferguson of Ravenel, SC and Lisa Flick Posner of Charleston, SC; five grandchildren: Angela, Ricky, Melissa, Jimmy and Alex; two great grandchildren: Dakota and Rick, Jr.; several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her son, Michael Posner.
