Ruth Jeanette Hardage, 85, of North Charleston, SC, widow of Chaplain Owen A. Hardage Jr., USN Ret. died Thursday, July 21, 2016. Her funeral service will be held Monday, July 25, 2016 in Peace Presbyterian Church, 174 Londonderry Road at 9:00 am. Interment will follow at Beaufort National Cemetery 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road.

Jeanette was born March 12, 1931 in Maywood, CA, daughter of the late William Alfred Webb and the late Gladys Irene Barnett Webb. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree at Long Beach State College, now California State University at Long Beach. She was a member of Peace Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her brother Douglas Webb; five daughters: Jessica Davis, Alison Edwards, Karen Schmitt, Valerie Dearborn and Lani Hardage-Vergeer; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
