Ruth Frank Evans

Ruth Frank Evans, 83, wife of the late John C. "Jack" Evans, Sr., entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 27, 2012. Ruth, a native of Mt. Pleasant, was born May 15, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Helen and Virgil Frank of Mt. Pleasant. She was an Avon sales representative for 50 years and an avid Bingo player.

She is survived by her children: John C. "Cecil" Evans, Jr. (Vicki) of Mt. Pleasant, Gloria E. Hill (Charlie) of Goose Creek, Lynn E. Myers (Richard) of St. George, Peggy E. Koerner (Jason) of Mt. Pleasant; her grandchildren, Michele E. Luther (Mark), Sheri B. Marangelli (Bobby), John C. "Trey" Evans, III (Nicole), Dawn B. Blair (Todd), Dr. Pamela L. Hourihan, Wayne Butler (Elizabeth), John M. Perper, Richely M. Campbell (John), Kylee P. Eidenmuller, 17 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be Saturday, March 3, 2012 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Stuhr's Mt. Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road.
