Ruth Drose Campbell, 77, wife of Murry Eugene Campbell of Awendaw, South Carolina, passed away Friday, July 26, 2013 at her residence. The Memorial Service will be Wednesday, July 31, 2013 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Ruth was born August 15, 1935 in North Charleston, SC, daughter of the late John Henry Drose Jr. and Eulalie Wille Drose.

She was survived by her husband of 55 years, Murry Eugene Campbell of Awendaw, SC; one daughter, Rhonda Conway and her husband, Timothy of Savannah, GA; one son, Murry E. Campbell, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, SC; two sisters, Eulalie Watts of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Marguerite Dawdy of Johns Island, SC; four grandchildren, Sean Conway and Bryce Conway, both of Savannah, GA; and Jamie Campbell and Taylor Campbell, both of Mt. Pleasant, SC.
