Ruth Love Belteau, 92, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, died Thursday, August 2, 2018. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 7, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in the Mount Pleasant Chapel on Monday, August 6, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.

Ruth was born January 18, 1926 in Columbia, South Carolina, daughter of the late Johnnie Hutchins and the late Juanita Kelley Hutchins. She was a Employment Counselor with Snelling and Snelling Temporary Employment Agency. Ruth was a hospice and Red Cross volunteer, poll watcher, a member of the Military Officers Association of America and a former member of Seacoast Church Mount Pleasant.

She is survived by her son, Doyne M. Love, II and wife Dolores of Mount Pleasant, SC. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, CWO Doyne M. Love (US Army) and Colonel Robert Belteau (US Army).

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
