Russell Glenn Williamson

October 22, 1955 — June 5, 2010

Russell "Rusty" Glenn Williamson, 54, of Hanahan, husband of Patricia Harvey Williamson, passed away the morning of June 5, 2010.  The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Russell "Rusty" Williamson are invited to attend his funeral service in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at 2:30 o'clock.  Entombment will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel on Monday, June 7, 2010 between five and seven o'clock.

      


Rusty was born in Charleston, SC, the son of the late Joe L. and Doris McMillian Williamson.  He was the owner of Pappy's Restaurant in Hanahan, and owner of the Sportsman Center in Goose Creek, and was an avid pool player and fisherman.




He is survived by his wife, Patricia Williamson;  four daughters, Kimberly Morrin (Mike) of Goose Creek, SC, Tawnya Williamson Weatherford (Alan) of Hanahan, SC, Brandi Williamson (Jessie) of Hanahan, SC, and DeAnna Gilmore (Adam) of Wittwell, TN;  three sisters, Faye Holmes (Al) of Hanahan, SC, Lynne Bowen (Phillip) of Pimlico, SC, and Patricia A. Williamson of Hanahan, SC;  two aunts, Jean McCarther (Gene) of Gilbert, SC and Betty White (Paul) of Mt. Pleasant, SC.  He is also survived by six grandchildren and twelve step-grandchildren.
