Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of December 27, 2010, Russell LaFayette Halfacre, widower of Grace Busby Halfacre.  Residence, Moncks Corner, SC.  The relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside service at Riverview Memorial Park, Friday, December 31, 2010, at 11 am with military honors.  The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL Thursday from 5 until 7 pm. 

Mr. Halfacre has born February 15, 1920 in Ripley, Tennessee, son of the late Frederick Augustus Halfacre and the late Alcie Weaver Halfacre.  He was an Army veteran of World War II where he served in the Quartermaster Corps as a Technical Sergeant and retired from Westvaco as a Wood Yard Foreman.

He is survived by two daughters, Gail H. Billiot of Jacksonville, FL, Sandra M. Halfacre of  Charleston; a son, Russell L. Halfacre, Jr. of Statesboro, GA; three sisters, Luna "Deanie" Craver of Little Rock, AR, Marcelene Rowland of Memphis, TN and Nancy Zachary of Ripley, TN, a brother, Dearl Halfacre of Jackson, TN; three grandsons, Harry Billiot, Jr., Keith Billiot, and Jonathan Halfacre; and two great grandchildren, Jacquelyn and Nathan.
