Ruby Mae Thigpen Jones

Ruby Mae Thigpen Jones, 83, of North Charleston, the widow of Seab C. Jones, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 27, 2015.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel. Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2015, in the Riverbluff Church, 5421 Riverbluff Parkway at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park.

Ruby Mae was born October 5, 1931 in Glenwood, Georgia, daughter of the late George W. Thigpen and the late Emma L. Thigpen. She was a former member of Midland Park Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children: son, Nelson Ray Beacham, his wife, Andrea Nelms Beacham and their children, Danny Ray Beacham, his wife Peggy and their children, Chase and Brianna; Tabitha Lynn Beacham, her husband Paul Suggs and their children Cameron Ray Beacham, his wife Katherine Lewis Beacham, Andrea Suggs and Paul Suggs, Jr.; Staci Beacham McLain and her husband, Dr. Christopher McLain and their children, Emma and Joshua; daughter, Brenda Jones Shepard, her husband, Henry Norman Shepard and their children, Tradd D. Shepard, Brooke Shepard-Eisenhower, husband, Chadwick Eugene Eisenhower, and their son, Eugene Eisenhower, Jr.; son, Rickey C. Jones, wife, Ellen Pontieri Jones and their sons, Rickey C. Jones, Jr., Zackary C. Jones, and Alan C. Jones; son, James Gregory Jones, his wife, Leslie Norman-Jones and their children, Jessica Caroline Jones and Lacey Caitlyn Jones; son, Donald C. Jones, wife, Gina H. Jones and their sons, Race C. Jones and Jacob C. Jones; and beloved niece, Cookie Kirby. She is also survived by a brother, William B. Thigpen and his wife Sherry.
