Ruby Virginia James

Ruby Virginia Melton James, 85, of North Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Daniel E. James, Sr., died Thursday, November 8, 2012. Ruby was born November 4, 1927 in Raleigh, North Carolina, one of eight children of the late Lonnie Melton and the late Pansy Randolph Melton. Ruby was retired as a machine operator at R M Engineers Products (formerly known as Raybestos-Manhattan). Her work included production of a variety of products, from drapery to tiles for the space shuttle.
