Ruby Risher Browning

Ruby Risher Browning, 87, of Jedburg, SC, wife of the late Glad Browning and the late Milton Stack entered into eternal rest Saturday, December 31, 2022. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 12:00 pm.  Interment, Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, January 6, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in Stuhr Northwoods Chapel. 

Ruby was born February 23rd, 1935 in Harleyville, SC and is the mother of Bennie Milton Stack and Victoria Stack Strobel.  She enjoyed her career in the meat market, loved farm life, growing her vegetable gardens and Canning.  She lived in Jedburg surrounded by her children and grandchildren.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Jedburg.
 
She is survived by Bennie Milton Stack (the late Annette), Victoria Stack Strobel (Robert), granddaughters: Jody Stack Stonier (Chris), Angie Stack DuRant (Gregg), Jamie Stack; nine great-grandchildren: Marissa, Emily, Eli, Josh DuRant, Kyle, Shelby Dupree, Abbey, Kennedy, Drew Garvin., all from Jedburg, SC; aunt of 35 nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Sawyer. 

Daughter of the late VanBuren and Rebecca Risher of Harleyville, SC.  Sister of ten deceased siblings:  Aaron Risher (Lavatta), Mattie Risher (Eldrige), Joe Risher (Audrey), Herbert Risher (Rose), Ben Risher (Mary), Charles Risher (Imogene), Imogene Risher (Jimmy), Dan Risher, Julia Risher and Mary Risher.

Her family dearly loved her.
