Roy J. "Terry or Bubba" Stevenson, Jr.

Roy J. Stevenson, Jr., of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, widow of Marcell Malone Stevenson, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 14, 2019. His funeral service will be held Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 11:00 o'clock in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, 1308 Mathis Ferry Rd., Mount Pleasant, SC, 29464. The family will receive friends in the Chapel one hour prior to the service.

"Terry" was born April 4, 1935 in St. George, South Carolina, son of the late Roy J. Stevenson Sr. and Louise Walters Stevenson. He graduated from St. George High School, class of 1953. Terry worked as a Lab Manager at Albright and Wilson Chemical for his entire working career. He served in the National Guard, the Isle of Palms Exchange Club and the Woodmen of the World. Terry loved anything having to do with being outdoors, whether it was fishing, swimming, boating (anything on the water), gardening and working in his yard. He was the definition of a "True Outdoorsman".

He is survived by his sister, Betty S. Easterling (Clifford) of Moncks Corner, SC and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made in his name to Lutheran Hospice, 1885 Rifle Range Rd. #46, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464.
